MRYS Mission Statement:
The Midlands Regional Youth Service (MRYS) in partnership with young people and their community will develop, co-ordinate and promote a comprehensive response to youth needs throughout the Midland Region, covering Counties Westmeath & Offaly.

The Midlands Regional Youth Service in partnership with young people and their community will develop, co-ordinate and promote a comprehensive response to youth needs throughout the Midland Region, covering Counties Westmeath & Offaly. The aim of the youth service is to work with young people to provide opportunities to participate in a range of programmes, i.e. educational, leisure, social, health promoting etc. MRYS received the Q mark in Youth Work in 2008 and received the Gold Youth Health Award in 2009. MRYS Ltd. are affiliated to Youth Work Ireland. Ireland's largest Youth Organisation.
MRYS is in operation since 1960, and its primary role is to provide support in the form of training and management programmes for young people and adults involved in the establishment of Youth Clubs throughout counties Offaly and Westmeath. These local and voluntary managed, needs based activities cater for young people aged 8 – 18 years and are located in Arden View, Clara, Daingean, Edenderry, Rhode, St. Ciaran’s – Clonmacnois and St. Mary’s Youth & Community Centre –Tullamore.
Westmeath youth clubs include Ballymore, Castlepollard, Kilbeggan, Kinnegad, Link Club – Mullingar, Multyfarnham and Rochfortbridge.
